Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

Focused on medicinal and aromatic plants (MAP), dealing with aspects related to cultivation, wild harvesting, postharvest transformation, commercialization and market, within the frames of education, research, knowledge transfer and social promotion.

MAP’s group is continuing the work created by Secondary Forest Products Department since 1999 to 2012, that was created in 1997 from a European project  Life-Environment about organic cultivation of medicinal amb aromatic plants in the Pyrenees mountains.
